5 Healthy Restaurants in Boston You Need To Try
Looking for a healthy, seasonal and fresh meal in Boston? Here are a few of the best spots for breakfast, lunch or dinner in Boston's top neighborhoods.
Get Started1. by CHLOE
Address: 107 Seaport Boulevard, Boston, MA, USA
by CHLOE. is a fast casual vegan restaurant, whose goal is “to redefine what it means to eat well”. The chain aims to provide its customers with healthy, hearty and environmentally conscious options that still taste amazing. They opened their first Boston location earlier this year in the Seaport District, and another location in Fenway is currently in the works!
What to order: Everything on this menu is super unique and delicious, cult favorites include The Mac’ N Cheese and the Pesto Meatball Sandwich. The Mac’ N Cheese is to die for, you won’t even know there is no dairy in it, made with sweet potato cashew cream sauce, shiitake bacon and almond parm, this dish is sure to please. The Pesto Meatball Sandwich (pictured above) will have even meat lovers coming back for seconds. Made with portobello and veggie “meatballs”, marinara, sweet peppers, basil pesto, cashew mozzarella, almond parm and a potato sub roll, this order is definitely a winner. Order with a side of air baked fries for even more yumminess!
2. Piperi
Address: 1 Beacon Street, Boston, MA, USA
Piperi came to Boston’s streets in 2012 and has been a staple for health nuts and foodies alike ever since. This assembly line style eatery is serving up mediterranean style food with a focus on flavor and health, in a vibrant atmosphere. Piperi, meaning peppercorn in Greek, got its origins in India, where Chef Thomas John was born. His family owned a spice farm in the area specializing in, peppercorns, ginger, cinnamon, coriander, cardamom and other spices, which serve as the inspiration behind many of the dishes served at Piperi. The service here is also top notch, and you can tell that everyone really wants you to enjoy your experience!
What to order: We recommend anything on the Gozi bread, a thinner more flavorful version of the pita bread, which is made in house. The falafel is especially tasty and all of their signature sauces, ranging from mild to hot, will give your dish an added kick.

4. Pressed
Address: 120 Charles Street, Boston, MA, USA
Pressed was created by Bostonians for Bostonians. Owners Ashley Gleeson and David Clendenin opened the original Pressed Boston location in Beacon Hill back in January of 2015 with the goal of providing healthy food from a creative menu, for those with a busy life. The contemporary juice bar serves fresh juices and “Superfood Shakes” along with a selection of plant based meals like Acai bowls and inventive salads. Pressed recently opened its second location on Tremont Street in the South End, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for them!
What to order: For a drink we suggest the Magnesium juice, made with watermelon, cucumber, lime, ginger, pomegranate, it is the definition of refreshing. For food one of our favorites is the Superfood Sushi, this is a perfect afternoon pick-me-up snack and is made with sweet potato, avocado, cucumber, burdock and yacon roots, seasonal pickled vegetables, black rice, and served with a miso-ginger dipping sauce. In the summer they serve paletas, which are essentially South American popsicles, and if they have them when you stop in be sure to grab them cause they fly off the shelves. The sweet treats come in flavors like pineapple habanero and spa pop (cucumber, lime and mint).
